Scouts of the Wyrdwood Forest is a family-friendly, storytelling adventure game about modern kids exploring an enchanted woods. There they will encounter myth and magic, learn about their own Fae-blessed ancestry, help those in need, and earn cool badges.
Originally Scouts of the Wyrdwood Forest was designed to encourage parents to play RPGs with their 8 to 14-year-old kids, but playtesting has proven that it is fun for groups of all ages! This is a game that emphasizes teamwork, storytelling, and finding non-violent solutions to the problems before you.
The Kickstarter is for a 140+ page, full color, hardback book offset printed (that’s the nice stuff) in the USA. There are also extras like fancy dice, cool stickers for the character sheets, and a troop journal book with stories and advice from modern fantasy authors.
